Do heat pumps work in Scottish winters?
Yes. Air source heat pumps are designed to work in cold weather, although efficiency drops as temperatures fall. Correct sizing matters.
Can I run a heat pump from solar panels?
Solar can cover some of its electricity, mostly in spring and autumn. In winter, most heat pump electricity will come from the grid.
